Purchases Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

This policy sets out the terms on which you buy a Jamah4U ("Jamah4U") subscription: what you are paying for, how billing works, and what happens when a subscription lapses. It applies to every plan sold through our website or arranged directly with our team. Money already paid is dealt with in our Refund Policy.

What you are buying

Jamah4U is software as a service. A subscription is a licence to access the platform for the period you have paid for — it is not a sale of software, and no physical goods are shipped. The features available to you are those listed for your plan at the time of purchase. Restaurants on a plan may enable or disable individual modules; disabling a module does not reduce the plan price.

Plans, pricing and currency

  • Plans are sold on a monthly or yearly billing cycle. The yearly cycle is charged as a single payment covering 12 months.
  • All prices are quoted and charged in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Prices shown at checkout are the amount payable. Any applicable tax is shown before you confirm.
  • Your bank or card issuer may add currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. Those are outside our control and are not refundable by us.

Trial period

New accounts may be given a trial period so you can evaluate the platform before paying. A trial carries no charge and no payment details are required to start one. When the trial ends you must move to a paid plan to keep using the service; if you do not, the account becomes inactive as described below. Data entered during a trial is preserved if you subscribe.

Payment

Payment is taken through our payment gateway, or by bank transfer where we have agreed to invoice you. We never see or store your full card number — the gateway handles those details directly. A subscription becomes active once we receive confirmation that payment has cleared.

You are responsible for keeping your billing contact details current. If a payment fails, we will tell you and give you a reasonable opportunity to settle before the account is affected.

Renewal

Subscriptions run to a fixed end date and are renewed by paying for the next cycle. We will remind you before your subscription expires. If you have set up an automatic payment method, the next cycle will be charged on the renewal date at the then-current price for your plan; you can cancel that arrangement at any time before the renewal date.

Changing your plan

  • Upgrades take effect immediately. You pay the difference in price for the remainder of the current cycle.
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of your next cycle, so you keep what you paid for until then.
  • Where a downgrade removes a feature, you should export any data held in that feature before the change takes effect.

Cancellation and expiry

You can cancel at any time by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until the end of that period.

If a subscription expires without renewal, the account is suspended: staff can no longer sign in and guest ordering pages stop accepting orders. Your data is not deleted at that point. We retain it for the period described in our Privacy Policy, so paying to reactivate restores the account with its records intact.

Price changes

We may change plan pricing. Any change is announced at least 30 days before it applies to you and never affects a cycle you have already paid for. If you do not accept a new price you may cancel before it takes effect.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the platform lawfully, to keep your login credentials confidential, and not to resell or sublicense access without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that is being used to break the law, to attack the service, or in a way that puts other subscribers' data at risk. Where the circumstances allow, we will warn you first.

Service availability

We work to keep the platform available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Extended outages caused by us are handled under our Refund Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you purchase or renew, and material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
